Water Puppet Tours

With its numerous national parks, white sand beaches, colourful villages, pagodas and ancient monuments, forests and islands, Vietnam is a land of often surprising beauty, offering cultural depth and history, increasingly combined with tourism-friendly areas offering all the facilities a modern traveller could wish for.

Vietnam’s people are its greatest asset: gregarious, friendly and eager to meet visitors. In the bustling cities, the often chaotic streets contrast ox carts with limousines, ancient rituals with sophisticated technology, and are ruled by the ubiquitous moped.

Our strength is in translating these opportunities into detailed, practical itineraries. We do luxury travel and event planning, as well as a wide range of beach, family, honeymoon, adventure, golf, veteran and cultural tours.

There is no better way to experience a destination than through the perspective of the local people. At Water Puppet Tours, this key element of local insight drives every step of our process of tour design and delivery. We provide tailor-made tours individually crafted for each client, achieving this by emphasizing the direct working relationship between the client and the tour designer and operator.

Phoenix Cruise Halong Bay

Expectations of even the most demanding customers. The on board restaurant at the had of the junk will serve customers beautiful feasts and tastety fresh seafood. Come and enjoy!

Like many cruises of its class, Halong Phoenix Cruise is covered with a traditional Vietnamese style from outer to inner space. That style is formed by wooden furniture and decoration anywhere on the cruise, which are precisely settled to create not only unique but also romantic atmosphere for a night onboard.

This is not a large cruise with only 16 deluxe cabins including 8 double suites and 8 twin suites equipped with standardized amenities like 3-star hotel rooms on land. The featured element of accommodation on this cruise is each cabin contains ancient objects and decoration, like a “Dong Ho” painting or old-style shelves.

That enhances the “Vietnamese” characteristic on the board, and offers unique feeling to passengers when they are on the cruise. Beside these deluxe cabins, Halong Phoenix Cruise also offer numerous services with outstanding quality to passengers such as cozy dining rooms with panoramic windows and delicious menus, or airy sundeck to admire holistic landscape of the bay.

Option 1: 2 Days 1 night in Halong Bay on Phoenix cruise

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Lunch, Dinner, Guide)

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you up to cross the Red River delta, the second biggest in Vietnam and through the scenic country side to reach Halong Bay.

You will arrive at Tuan Chau International Marina on the harbor of Halong’s biggest island. From here a tender boat will take you to our Halong Phoenix Luxury Cruiser. A refreshing welcome drink is served and you can check into your cabin.

In the afternoon, your boat sets sail to the centre of this World Heritage site.  Lunch is served in the restaurant while you enjoy the amazing scenery and delicious lunch of fresh local seafood or your requested vegetarian meal. Cruise amongst the hundreds of islands and gorgeous natural settings, limestone bedrocks and sheer cliffs of tiny islets. You will pass by Duck and Thumb islets, and then Coconut Island - the only soil island in the World Heritage Site.

At Luom Bo area (the provincial border between Quang Ninh province and Cat Ba National Park of Hai Phong), the boat stops and you will kayak in the turquoise waters here. Swimming at the secluded sandy beach is an option for people who are not interested in kayaking.

As the sun sets over the bay, you will head back to our cruise and relax. Coffee, tea and fruits will be available on the sundeck or you can order your favorite drink from the bar. The boat will continue to cruise to the Fairy Lake (Ho Dong Tien) area and anchor for the night.

Dinner is served with local seafood and then you may choose to enjoy a drink from the bar or experience squid fishing, before retiring.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch, Guide)

Your breakfast is served from 7.30am until 8.30am. After that, you will visit an impressive grotto of Halong Bay – Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave, with your guide. A truly awesome and amazing cave to experience.
